Dear Students, Professors, and Geo-Professionals,

Do you know students in the geo-profession who are looking to expand their career opportunities, meet potential Geo-Institute Organizational Member (OM) employers, and possibly receive a $300 stipend to attend the International Foundations Congress and Equipment Expo (IFCEE 2018)? If so, the Geo-Institute invites you to attend the IFCEE 2018 Student Grant Winner/Organizational Member Career Fair (by invitation only) and Student/Organizational Member Reception.

Student Grant Winner/Organizational Member Career Fair (by invitation only):
Forty-five students will be selected by the Organizational Member Council to receive a $300 travel grant to participate in the OM Career Fair, “speed-dating” style, during IFCEE 2018. Over the course of one hour these students will be able to discuss their career objectives with representatives from Organizational Member firms in which they have an interest. This exclusive time brings together future employees and potential employers to discuss the profession and career opportunities. The career fair will be followed by a general reception.

To be considered for one of the stipends, students must first register for the conference, and then complete and submit the Student Travel Grant Application by January 25, 2018. Student travel grant winners must attend the entire Organizational Member/Student Reception. Successful travel grant winners will be notified via email by February 19, 2018. Checks will be mailed the week of March 26, 2018, after the confirmed event attendance.

All registered students are invited to attend this special networking reception that will occur immediately following the career fair. Here’s your opportunity to meet representatives from G-I’s Organizational Members and other students.
