Economic and Constructible - Geotechnical Engineering for the 21st Century
The ASCE Met Section Geo-Institute invites you to join us for the 48th Annual Met Section Geotechnical Seminar. This seminar will focus on covering a broad range of geotechnical engineering design and construction projects in the NYC Metropolitan area and other urban environments where: 1) Economic consideration was accounted for in the project design phase 2) Alterations in construction were made based on field conditions that provided a more constructible or cost-effective approach 3) Alternative investigations, testing procedures or unique analysis was performed that provided a benefit for the project; 4) Cost-effective construction methods and schedules were coordinated between design consultant and contractor; 5) Value engineering was provided on the project.
