There are four GeoChallenge Competitions in which students are invited to participate each year at the annual conference. They are: GeoWall, GeoPrediction, GeoPoster, and GeoVideo. GeoChallenge participants are eligible for travel grants in accordance with the published rules for each event.
Graduate Student Organizations >>
Students at any U.S. college or university who are interested in geotechnical engineering are encouraged to join a Graduate Student Organization (GSO) at their university.
Student Committees >>
The Geo-Institute has three committees that facilitate the student program: The Student Participation Committee, the Student Leadership Council, and the Organizational Member Council.
Student Membership >>
Student membership in the G-I is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing an academic discipline related to the geoprofession.
