You’ve got the sample! Now: how do you share the data?
Share it more quickly, more accurately, and more easily with DIGGS – now in version 3.0!
DIGGS - the Data Interchange for Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists – is a data transfer protocol for geotechnical data. More precisely, it’s a GML (XML-based) geospatial standard schema for the transfer of geotechnical and geoenvironmental data within an organization or between multiple organizations.
DIGGS standard will help meet your needs for information and data asset management. It can work with existing software, hardware, databases and data storage facilities to easily transfer and share your data. And it has the potential to help your organization realize significant savings.
In fact, it’s anticipated that as DIGGS continues to grow in adoption, it will help state and federal agencies, and other public and private organizations, avoid redundant drilling and laboratory testing costs and easily access geotechnical data for multiple projects in a standard format, resulting in the savings of millions of dollars.
