The Geo-Institute is bringing its annual Geo-Congress experience to ASCE2027, ASCE’s premier infrastructure event, taking place March 1–5, 2027 in Philadelphia.
This integrated format places geotechnical engineering at the center of a broader infrastructure conversation. ASCE2027 will explore major themes shaping the future of our profession, including artificial intelligence in civil engineering, engineering for climate extremes, next-generation materials and methods, resilience, infrastructure policy, and the future of engineering practice. Geotechnical expertise plays a critical role in each of these areas.
We invite Geo-Institute members to submit abstracts under the Geotechnical Engineering technical area.
Representative topics include foundations, earth retaining structures, tunnels, rock mechanics, soil improvement, site characterization, geoenvironmental engineering, computational geotechnics, resilience, sustainability, and AI applications in civil engineering.
A full list of topics and submission details is available on the ASCE2027 website.
Abstract Submission Deadline: March 4, 2026
Do not miss this opportunity to showcase your work and contribute to a major, cross-disciplinary infrastructure event.
