(2010)<br>Zornberg (2002)</em></p><p>While this is not a “full” design method for fiber reinforced pavement systems, in this approach, fiber reinforced soil is characterized as a two-component (soil and fibers) material. Fibers are treated as discrete elements that contribute to resistance by mobilizing tensile stresses along the shear plane.
